CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

We are trying to increase and develop our work with young people.

They usually take part in our monthly All Age service.

We are trying to provide more social occasions for them to enjoy going out together.

Every year we prepare a group of children aged 9/10 upwards for Confirmation.

Some of our young people serve as Acolytes and/or Crucifers.

Some of our children sing in the Choir.


From 10 - 30 children and young people regularly attend our church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL is held for children 4-11 years every Sunday except the 1st Sunday from 11am - 12.30pm, led by 2 adults (by rote). CHOIR We are trying to build up our choir and we welcome new members. Modest bursaries are available for children who attend regularly. Please ring our office for further details. YOUTH GROUP We have an active Youth Group who meet regularly after church from 12.30 - 2pm. They enjoy their fellowship and also rehearse for special events. CONFIRMATION Children are encouraged to seek confirmation at about 11 years or over. They attend about 9 sessions during which they learn about the Christian faith. The sessions include discussion, crossword puzzles, a little drama, and some simple artwork. Of course you can also be confirmed as an adult. All the adults who work with our children have to obtain CRB clearance
